 Permissions

To provide the full range of features, Software Update may request the following permissions:

Internet & Network State(`INTERNET`, `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`)

Required to check for app and system updates, and to verify your connection status before performing update checks.

Query All Packages(`QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES`)

Required so the app can list installed and system applications on your device and compare their versions against available updates. Without this permission, the app cannot detect which apps need updating.

Usage Access (`PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS`)

Required to show you app usage statistics (such as which apps are used frequently or rarely) as part of the app management features. This permission is granted manually by you through system settings and can be revoked at any time.

Vibrate (`VIBRATE`)

Required for the built-in vibration sensor test, which lets you check that your device's vibration motor is working correctly.

Advertising ID(`AD_ID`)

Used by our advertising partner (AdMob) to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.

Why We Need These Permissions
